C.E.N.T.E.S N°3

C.E.N.T.E.S. No.3 is a public school located in the special education district of Buenos Aires. We accept children aged between 3 and 12, who cannot attend ordinary educational institutions due to developmental disorders such as autism or for various other reasons.
To make learning easier for students, classes are conducted in small groups or, if necessary, in pairs with teachers.
In addition to an elementary school teacher’s license, the teachers at CENTES are required to have qualifications in psychology or educational psychology. The school also has numerous other professionals, including medically qualified psychoanalysts, psychologists, educational psychologists, social workers, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and full-time teachers of handicrafts, music, technology, and physical education.
Through daily staff meetings and regular case conferences, we adopt an interdisciplinary approach to determining the phase of educational intervention as far as possible, while respecting the individuality of each and every child.
