Shibuya City Welfare Center for Persons with Disabilities Heartpia Harajuku

Heartpia Harajuku commissioned by Shibuya City in June 2008, Heartpia Harajuku is Shibuya City’s principal facility for the care and support of people with disabilities, providing support for residential care, assisted living (day care), short-stay services, daytime drop-in services and support for child development.

For its assisted living program, the facility actively engages in arts-based activities for adults with disabilities and offers rehabilitation services such as physical and music therapy. It also provides support for child development, focusing on sensory integration and training in social skills.
