Sepideh Hashemi

Photographer. Born in 1990 in Iran.
I have an B.A. and M.A. in photography from art college.
My interest in social issues means I mostly take pictures of daily life and people on the streets.
In my opinion a diligent and sincere attitude is the real essence of art. As an artist I aspire to communicate art to society more effectively.
I was a research student in 2018 in the Department of Intermedia Art at Tokyo University of the Arts. My supervisor at the time was Katsuhiko Hibino. I’m attracted to Hibino’s social projects such as “Soccer Ball Art,” “TURN,” “UENOYES” etc. and take part in each of them.
