Yuta Itani

Despite having severe disabilities, musician Itani developed a unique way to play onstage, and his pursuit of artistic expression has enlightened people about the increasingly borderless nature of the mind. In 2015 he won the grand prize for his original song entry at the 12th Gold Concert music competition for people with disabilities, held at Tokyo International Forum. He constantly pursues his own potential, continuing to challenge himself not only in music but also with various techniques and methods.
