Emi Tomizuka


Art director, producer/choreographer, performer, illustrator. Born in Kanagawa Prefecture in 1985. Nicknamed Chori. After completing her studies at Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School, Tomizuka founded Yanaka-no-okatte, and as its director she is engaged in planning and management of art projects. In 2009, she launched the Guruguruyami Project, an art project that develops a base for cultural creation in the Yanaka area of Taito-ku, Tokyo. She presented the house party-style performance Dozojin’s House in 2013, and the picnic-style performance Ifu DoDo in 2015.
