Born in Tokushima Prefecture in 1990. Graduated from the Social Designing Course of Kagawa University Faculty of Law (Law Department) in 2013. While a student, Takiguchi joined the student division of Second Hand, a university public interest incorporated association, through which she became involved in fair trade product sales and development activities in Cambodia, as well as scholarship support for students living in slum areas in that country. Following a period working at an advertising agency, Takiguchi began organizing workshops and cultural exchange events based in Sumida-ku, Tokyo, and was responsible for coordination of volunteers at the Sumida River Mono-Koto Market. After meeting the artist EAT&ART TARO in 2014 while working at a coffee shop in Higashimukojima, she assisted the artist on a number of projects, including The Cucumber Show (Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale 2015); Food Correspondence (Art NPO Himming), and Yushoku (dinner) Concierge (TURN FES).
