Yoshikazu Yamagata

Artist

Graduated from London’s Central Saint Martins in 2005. While at college he worked as a fashion design assistant for John Galliano. In 2007 he launched writtenafterwards, a fashion brand and company. Through fashion’s creative channels such as collections, exhibitions and shows, the brand strives to create new relationships between people with diverse perspectives on society, culture, education and the environment to propose a new communicative role for fashion. The brand’s first Tokyo Fashion Week show was held in September 2008. Yamagata also runs “coconogacco,” an innovative fashion school offering creative experimentation and learning.
