TURN Meeting No.15
2021.12.13
TURN Now and in the Future
The TURN art project generates artistic expression from encounters that transcend “differences.”
In this 15th and final TURN Meeting, TURN participating artists and staff from welfare facilities and other participating organizations join us to talk about insights and realizations gained through TURN project activities.
How did TURN’s activities mesh, and how did people affect each other at diverse locations working in different areas including support for people with disabilities, the elderly, children, and education? Together with TURN Supervisor Katsuhiko Hibino, participants share individual perspectives, and look ahead to the legacy of the TURN experience.
Between discussions, two guest singers will perform composer Akashi Ikawa’s “TURN NOTES,” a group of musical works based on words from the publication “TURN NOTE.” Enjoy a wide-ranging vocal performance intertwining singing and readings.
*This event will be conducted in Japanese.
